Welcome to my new adventure… or rather, revisiting an old hobby.

I have been blogging on and off for a decade on my other site, mayibethemoon, and will continue (or restart) posting there with all my thoughts about faith and theology. I dabbled with writing about books and bits of flash fiction on that site but diverted to BookTube five years ago. And I loved it. Really really loved it. I loved making videos, learning to talk to the camera and to edit, and engaging with the online book community.

But now my life has shifted gear. I’m a year into a chronic illness diagnosis, I’m partway through a PhD, I’m getting married, moving, and starting a new job this summer, and finding the time and energy to maintain producing videos has become ever more difficult.

So I’m returning to my first love: writing. I wanted to keep having a space to talk about books, and I wanted to keep it separate from my other blog, hence…
